Description
Supertots are looking for an enthusiastic and bubbly apprentice to join the team. You will be supported by the team and your tutor to achieve a level 3 qualification in Child care. We are looking for someone who has a passion for learning and supporting and teaching children from 3 months to 5 years.
•With supervision, provide a safe, secure, stimulating and inclusive, equal and diverse environment for the children, ensuring that their physical, social, emotional and developmental needs are met, in line with the Nursery’s policies and procedures.
•To work as part of a team to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn. To build and maintain strong partnerships with parents to enable children’s needs to be met.
•To be part of our Supertots team that provides a purposeful, stimulating environment rich in learning opportunities both indoors and outdoors. Additionally support the planning and implementation of activities with individual or groups of children; promoting effective teaching and learning.
•To ensure the environment and provision is of a high quality environment which meets the needs of individual children having an awareness of any disabilities, family cultures or medical needs.

GCSE Maths/English or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Supertots will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered through Supertot‘s dedicated training provider, Realise.
