We're looking for Accountancy/Taxation Level 7 Apprentices to join our scheme for 2025! To be considered for this scheme, please submit either your CV or Personal Statement along with the provided application form.
Level 7 Apprenticeship in Accountancy/Taxation (ACCA)Here's what you'll be doingAt E.ON, we’re more than a provider of gas and electricity, we’re shaping a cleaner, more sustainable energy future. Join us as an apprentice and you’ll play an important role in helping our customers take control of their energy use, whether that’s at home, in their business or as part of a city community.
Embark on a three-year accountancy/taxation apprenticeship and you’ll work towards a professional qualification while you gain practical experience. You’ll work with diverse teams across the business through six-month placements while pursuing a fully-funded level 7 apprenticeship which leads to ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) status and is studied part-time through Kaplan. During the programme, you'll have the opportunity to select placements based on your interests and career goals, such as:
- Financial planning and forecasting.
- Financial performance reporting and commentary.
- Closing the financial accounts each reporting period in accordance with international financial reporting standards.
- Financial analysis and insight to help inform business decision making.
What we need from you- 5 GCSE at Grades 9-4/A-C including Maths and English Language (or equivalent) and 3 A-levels at grades A-C (excluding general studies) OR
- AAT qualified (Level 4) or equivalent other professional body qualification OR
- Graduate with a 2.1 degree or above from a recognised university equivalent to a UK bachelor’s degree
Here’s what you need to know- Your base location will be our Nottingham office. We operate a hybrid working model, so depending on placements you will be expected in the office 1-3 days a week, with the flexibility to work from home on other days. Company-funded travel will be required, and you may have placement opportunities at other E.ON sites across the UK.
- Your academic studies require you to be on campus on day or block release.
