Description

Mixed Competition Livery yard. Dressage horses working at PSG and Inter 1 jumping horses to 1.40m.

Enthusiastic and cheerful person , whos willing to learn and work as part of a happy team.

There would be some riding if capable on well behaved kind natured horses .

Assisting with general yard duties and horse care including:-

  • Mucking Out
  • Turning Out
  • Grooming
  • Lunging

Previous experience of handling and caring for horses is required.
if you haven't already achieved grade 4/C in GCSE maths and/ or English, Haddon Training will support you in getting the grade needed to achieve the equine apprenticeship.
All training provided at the employers premises, with the employer and supported by Haddon Training.

Haddon Training will also support any candidates who need to gain passes in maths and/ or English.

You must love working with horses and have a positive attitude to your work!

Many opportunities for right candidate, including the possibility of progression on the the L3 Senior Groom Apprenticeship

There is no accommodation available on-site, so you must be able to make your own way to and from the yard reliably each day.

We can offer free livery for your horse if required.
