We have positions available in our Service Delivery team as an Apprentice Craftsperson. In this role, you will provide support in a technical service, electrically installing, repairing, and troubleshooting our distribution assets which include our overhead and underground cabling networks. Key Responsibilities- Working under the mentorship of our existing team we will develop your technical knowledge and participate in on-the-job training initiatives.
- Throughout your apprenticeship you will develop and maintain an appropriate professional relationship with relevant networks of support and personal development (CPD).
- You will share responsibility for appropriate compliance with HS&E, Company procedures, ensuring that appropriate risk assessments are carried out, safe working practices are maintained, and auditable records are kept.
- You will attend off-island training and gain qualifications.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise- The ability to learn technical skills in a highly safety-conscious environment.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and have good analytical, problem solving and fault-finding skills.
- No previous experience is needed but effective interpersonal and team skills with a strong customer focus is desired.
