Overview: 
The Digital Expense Assistant will be responsible for managing global expenses, ensuring compliance with the firm's expense policies, and providing support to employees in the submission and approval of expense claims. 
This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders across the firm.



What ds the role look like? 





  • Expense Submission: Submit all expenses with correct codes within 14 business days to avoid credit card suspension or reimbursement recovery. In doing so, you will become an expert in systems such as FCM (Corporate Travel System) & Chrome River (Expense Management Software).


  • Approval Deadlines: Approve expense requests within 14 business days. Provide insights to leaders on expenses, producing reports via MS Word.


  • Business Use Only: Use firm credit cards strictly for business-related expenses, never for personal use or cash advances.


  • Travel Claims: Submit travel expenses, including meals and services, with receipts via Chrome River, staying within firm-approved benchmarks.


  • Receipt Rules: Keep receipts for all claims—no receipt means no reimbursement.


  • Compliance Check: Follow the Global Credit Card Policy, ensuring expenses meet benchmarks and guidelines. Return cards if policies are not accepted.




What qualities should you have? 





  • Skills: Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to plan and prioritize effectively.


  • Proactive approach: Demonstrates a "can do" attitude and a proactive approach to tasks.


  • Flexibility: Willingness to adjust priorities or working hours when necessary.


  • Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders professionally.


  • Technical proficiency: Excellent level of technical ability in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


  • Team player: Ability to work well with others to achieve divisional or task-specific goals.
    Learning and Development: Keen to learn new skills and develop or improve skill sets.




Salary:
£16,000 per annum.



Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm.
