Job Purpose and Responsibilities:
Role Overview
You will gain a broad exposure to various teams of Compliance department and upon successful completion of the apprenticeship program you may be offered a full-time position.
The individual will play a key role in the Advisory Compliance function, monitoring regulatory developments and advising the business on Compliance matters. The role will sit within the Wholesale and Central Compliance division of the Compliance department and will focus on providing advisory support and monitoring across the Firm’s various business lines.
Primary duties will include but not limited to :
- Undertaking horizon scanning for changes/updates in regulatory rules/requirements.
- Processing documentation for regulatory and exchange licences.
- Assist with Training across the Department.
- Maintaining compliance logs such as conflicts of interest records, regulatory correspondence, breaches etc.
- Reviewing gifts and entertainment and expenses logs for compliance with policies.
- Assist in the administration of Compliance policies and procedures
- Completion of ongoing tasks that sit within the Departments Compliance Monitoring Programme (“CMP”)
