Over the past 40 years the Ison Harrison Solicitors has grown from a one man band to what is now a large regional law firm employing over 340 staff across 20 offices throughout Yorkshire. Employee owned Ison Harrison offer the broadest suite of legal services in the region and are very much embedded in the communities.



Most of their growth has been organic as a consequence of clients recommending us or returning for legal additional services.



Responsibilities:



Ison Harrison are looking for their next IT Support Apprentice to join to team learn and develop with the business. You will provide helpdesk and administration support within the firm while gaining an insight into legal practice. You will also ensure the successful development of the office, department and the firm in line with the firm’s business plans.



Technologies used: Teams, Microsoft Office, Networking, cabling, config, Microsoft Azure, 365, Windows Server, SQL, ALB Legal Software, Remote Desktop, Mitel VOIP



Desirable skills:





  • Strong approach to managing tasks


  • Ability to handle multiple requests


  • Strong interpersonal skills.


  • Clear, concise and professional telephone manner


  • Ability to work extremely accurately in accordance with the requirements of both IT and teams across the firm


  • Passionate about IT


  • Clear motivation to improve your IT skills and literacy


  • Excellent spoken English to resolve telephone enquiries




Entry Requirements:





  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject


  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)


  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject




You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.



If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours:



37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5pm
