Responsibilities: 





  • Train and become a super-user of the case management system Ceartas – you will assist in daily operations and administrative tasks, with the management of client cases, document storage, and workflow processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance throughout legal proceedings.


  • Engage in customer service activities to enhance client experience - being the first point of contact for general enquiries to the office, as well as managing general organisation email accounts.


  • Manage data and provide administrative support through Microsoft Packages, such as Outlook, Excel, and Word for tasks and organisation.


  • Using Scottish Legal Aid Board Online and Insight Legal to manage and submit legal aid applications, track case progress and to upload documents.


  • Collaborate with various departments (legal secretarial/accounts/reception) to understand their functions and processes and to ensure smooth office operations.




Required skills:





  • A passion for learning and a desire to grow both personally and professionally within the role


  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written


  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment


  • Organisational skills with attention to detail


  • A positive attitude and a willingness to take initiative




Salary: £15,000 per annum.



Working week: 35hrs a week.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
