Description

Apprentice CNC Milling Operator, learning how to set and run machines in production under

the control of Grant Weedon toolroom director. operator would be involved in cAD, machine

programming, setting, changing fixtures, production along with quality checks. Our machine

shop has 4 off Haas machines, 2 off Fanuc Robodrills and 1 off xYz 8oo heavy duty mill, The

apprentice will get to learn the controls and run each of the machines, some training

may take place at machine tool manufacturer as external training.

· Identify and action issues in the manufacturing process.

· Apply fault-finding and diagnostic testing procedures to identify faults. Diagnose and resolve issues. Escalate issues.

· Follow machine shut down, safe isolation, handover, start up or warm up procedures. Escalate issues.
