Description
Duties to include:
Assisting fee earners with general preparation work including processing administrative applications and working on client files for Solicitors including drafting, lodging and tracking the progress of applications with the council's and statutory authorities as required.
Utilising workflows and tasks on a case management system (CMS).
Making relevant licensing enquiries, reviewing council policies and where necessary liaising with relevant parties by telephone and in writing.
Gaining an understanding of the Licensing Act 2003 to broaden your understanding of our clients business and the leisure sector.
Developing and maintaining good client relationships.
Working to strict deadlines.
Working cohesively within the team.
Achieving fee and time targets.
Abiding by the firms values, ethos and brand guidelines.
Ensuring compliance with the firm's policies and procedures.
Attending appropriate training as and when required.
General administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning and filing etc.

As a Paralegal Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Paralegal Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship. Additional learning within the apprenticeship will enable you to be awarded a Level 4 Certificate of Higher Education in Legal Services which can afford you exemptions from the first two years of the Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship.
Your apprenticeship shall be delivered by online training form and on-the-job learning.
