What does this team do?
Investment Operations are responsible for
processes required for the end-to-end investment management process and
providing operational support to BlackRock’s portfolio management teams and
client groups. The team uses technology to deliver an industry-leading
single-operating platform responsible for the trading lifecycle, including
trading & market documentation, collateral management and asset servicing.
What will you do as an Apprentice?
• Gain exposure to multiple business areas and
investment products across the firm
• Be challenged to think innovatively and
creatively in order to solve complex business and operational issues
• Analyse trends in queries to improve client
deliverables
• Evaluate systems, processes and procedures for
inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvement
• Be part of and develop within a truly global
and innovative group

Candidates will need a minimum of grade 4 GCSE
(or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, and to have achieved a minimum
of grade C in three A-levels (or equivalent e.g. BTEC Nationals) by September
2025.
BPP apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually
by our fully qualified and industry-experienced training team. Using their
expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the
real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be
directly applied in the workplace.
Throughout the
apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated
team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.
On successful completion of the programme,
Apprentices will have the opportunity to receive an offer to join BlackRock as
a full-time employee.
