Description

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, friendly, animal loving team player on a professional dressage training and breeding yard expecting 30 foals born next season and with 200 horses in total. We require someone who takes pride in their work and has very high standards of animal care. Daily tasks such as; mucking out, poo picking, keeping the yard tidy, grooming , tacking up untacking, hand grazing etc .This is a great opportunity to work within a close knit in-house team of industry leading farriers, vets, physios and other specialists. It is a non riding position.

There is the possibility of travelling to shows for the right candidate.

Have good basic equine skills and be confident handling big, fit competition horses .

Level 4+ in GCSEs / Level 1+ in Functional Skills desirable but not essential.

Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training
A positive attitude and high work ethic with a good sense of humour and the highest standards of care and turnout are required to join this small successful team.

Progression to Level 3 on completion of Apprenticeship and or Potential for full time employment for the right candidate.

There is accommodation available with this position , however you do need to be 18 or over to apply .

No livery for own horse available.

If applying locally be aware this position is not accessible by public transport so please make sure you can get there and back daily before applying.
