Description

What you will do at work,

• Assist experienced carpenters with daily tasks on-site.

• Learn and develop skills in measuring, cutting, shaping, and installing timber and other materials.

• Support in the construction and installation of doors, windows, staircases, partitions, and flooring.

• Work with hand tools, power tools, and machinery under supervision.

• Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised work environment.

• Attend college or training sessions as part of the apprenticeship programme

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions

• Basic knowledge of tools and materials used in carpentry (preferred but not essential)

Grade 4 in English/Maths desirable but not essential.
You will attend college for one whole week per month for training for your level 2 Site Carpentry Apprenticeship.

• Passion for carpentry and a willingness to learn

• Strong work ethic and reliability

Potential for full-time employment post Apprenticeship if applicable.
