About the Role:



After a busy transformation programme, the Tech team is looking to recruit a Technology Operations Assistant/ Junior Operations and Support Analyst to help us streamline our processes and maximise efficiency. This exciting role blends elements of Helpdesk support, product management and business analysis. This offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our agency. Critically, this role is split 50/50 between business optimisation initiatives and providing support on our internal service desk.



Key Responsibilities:



Business Optimisation (50%)





  • Analyse data to understand and identify areas for optimisation.


  • Conduct user research to gather insights and understand stakeholder needs.


  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes.


  • Support with development and upkeep of our reporting suite.




Service Delivery / Support (50%)





  • Troubleshoot system and process-related issues, including first-line support to colleagues.


  • Answer queries related to internal tools and procedures.


  • Escalate complex problems to the appropriate teams.


  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.




The Ideal Candidate: 



Ideal Candidate:





  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders.  


  • A passion for process improvement and optimisation.


  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment with sometimes evolving priorities.




Entry Requirements:



  • Level 3 Qualification + at least 12 months of work experience* + robust onboarding plan (learner must work in the organisation for 3 months before signing up)


  • OR business-related degree eg business, finance, economics, maths, etc.


  • OR non-business-related degree + at least 6 months of work experience*


  • OR existing staff member with 2+ years of work experience**




*Work experience relates to any valid work experience

**Existing staff work experience should not be in a business analyst role

 

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

 

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
