Description
Main Duties
- Opening and closing New Business Enquiries and
Client Matter files
- Hard copy engrossments/binding
- Post Completion work such as scanning documents
for registration and sending the relevant documents to the other party’s
solicitor
- Collating, organising and scanning due diligence
and creating an Index
- Diary Appointments such as Court Directions or
post completion reminders
- Collating, organising, scanning/photocopying
Bundles together with creating an Index
- Phone enquiries – 1-6 months in the role
- Minutes of meetings
- Cleanliness of the office – emptying desk bins,
taking out rubbish, dishwasher duties, cleaning worktops, ensuring all lights
are switched off and doors closed at the end of the day and checking facilities
areas daily
- Organisation of the archive room and
copy/printer room
- Accepting deliveries on behalf of the office and
distribute incoming mail
- Franking outgoing mail and organising mail for
the Post Office run
- Liaising with the Office manager about paper,
invoice and letterhead ordering for the photocopier/printer.

Previous apprentices have gone on to complete the Level 3 Paralegal apprenticeship and even work towards their Level 7 Solicitor apprenticeship qualifcation!
Working Week - Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5.30pm
