They are also currently the BHS exam centre for the BHS teaching exams, so if you are also interested in becoming an instructor alongside your apprenticeship or afterwards this is the place for you . Hours 40 per week over 5 days to include 1 weekend day per week.

Description

All general yard duties to include :

  • Mucking out
  • Turning in and out, changing rugs, picking out feet.
  • Feeding, filling haynets, filling water buckets.
  • Tacking up and untacking.
  • Lunging.
  • Helping with in house competitions .
  • Riding available for the right candidate.

Experience with horses a must for this role.

A GCSE or equivalent pass in English and Maths is beneficial but not essential. If you do not have passes, we will support you in achieving your Functional Skills English and Maths qualifications alongside your apprenticeship.
All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.
Not to be afraid of hardwork and work well as part of a team, good sense of humor a bonus.
Progression to the Level 3 Senior Groom Apprenticeship as well as the possibility of a full time position to the successful candidate.
There is no accommodation available with this position , but it is easily accessible by both Train and Bus, please make sure you can get there and back daily before applying.


There is the possibility of livery for own horse for the right candidate.
