Description

we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our wonderful furniture company to learn the art and skill of finishing and polishing through the level 2 general furniture manufacturing apprenticeship. You will also learn and understand the principles of wood machinery, joints and assembly.

The work can be strenuous, lifting heavy panels. though help will be given, a good level of general fitness is required.

  • Qualification will be General Furniture Manufacturer Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
  • All training will be carried out on our site at High Wycombe in the factory
  • One day per month an external trainer will visit for specific training
  • One day per week will be spent on the computer doing course work

We are looking for a motivated individual that can can work as part of a team.

  • Learning all aspects of the finishing and polishing process
  • Learning about the equipment and spray guns used
  • Understanding the principles of wood, machinery, joints and assembly.
