Summary of the Role
Recruitment & Onboarding Administrator
The Recruitment & Onboarding Administrator (Apprentice) will play a key role in delivering a high-quality recruitment service, ensuring the timely appointment of vacancies across all non-medical staff groups. They will provide administrative support, liaise with recruiting managers, and assist candidates throughout the hiring process while ensuring compliance with NHS policies and employment standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires.
- Conduct pre-employment checks, including identity verification, right to work, references, and occupational health assessments.
- Manage job advertisements, vacancy control processes, and candidate communication.
- Assist in issuing offer letters, employment contracts, and setting up new employees in the HR system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records.
- Input New Joiners onto payroll.
- Provide excellent customer service to job applicants and internal teams.
- Support recruitment campaigns, open days, and job fairs.
- Assist in monthly audits and data reporting for compliance.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions for continuous professional development.

As a HR Support Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the HR Support Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, which is aligned with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Upon completion you will be awarded the CIPD Foundation Certificate, and you will be able to apply for Membership of CIPD.
The apprenticeship will be delivered through a blend of live online learning, pre-recorded lectures, and face to face inductions and masterclasses.

Salary breakdown:
