Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, this company specialises in information technology consultancy services, business mobile, broadband, and other communication solutions for local businesses of all sizes in the North East. Their comprehensive suite of services includes VoIP, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and network management. With a hands-on, personal approach to customer service, they tailor solutions to meet the unique needs of each client, allowing businesses to focus on growth while they manage IT and communication requirements.



Vacancy Description:





  • Develop custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps


  • Be involved in IOS & Android Development Projects


  • Create automated workflows with Power Automate for process optimization.


  • Design interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI for data visualization.


  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance for applications.


  • Integrate Power Platform applications with other services and data sources.


  • Maintain detailed documentation for applications.


  • Provide training, support, and user education for effective application utilisation. 




Desirable Skills and Qualifications: 





    Power Apps & Mobile Development – Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, iOS, and Android projects.

  • Understanding of Objective C, Swift, C++and C#


  • Automation & Integration – Proficiency in Power Automate and connecting applications to various data sources.



Personal Qualities 





    Problem-Solver – Able to identify issues and develop effective solutions.

    Detail-Oriented – Ensures accuracy in development, testing, and documentation.

    Team Player – Collaborates well with colleagues and stakeholders.



Entry Requirements:





  • The learner must have completed a Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship with QA or have an equivalent qualification with another training provider


  • OR an A-level in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics


  • (STEM) subject and a successful completion of our aptitude test


  • OR a BTEC Diploma in IT and a successful completion of our aptitude test


  • OR 2 years’ experience in a relevant role and successful completion of our aptitude test




You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.



If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
