Description

The candidate will perform the following key activities (examples): • Support Underwriters in Agora entries, data input and maintenance • Assist Underwriters in the completion of RMS modelling and pricing tool entry • Agora project on accuracy of data and additional information fields • Assist and support in processing of risks and endorsements • Support and work with MFO & TCS on Policy/Endorsement processing

5 GCSE's including Math and English at grades C and above or equivalent

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Data Technician, with training in how to:

· Identify the right data sources for your business to inform decision making.

· Collect, compile and cleanse data accurately and securely.

· Identify, anaylse and interpret data, trends and patterns.

· Produce dashboards and reports to aid visualization and comparison.

· Summarise and present the results of data analysis, making recommendations for business improvement.

· Store and archive data in line with data protection legislation.

• Good communication, organisational and numeracy skills • Enthusiastic, diligent, willing to learn. • Confidence with MS Office products and IT infrastructure – specifically MS Excel. • Ability to work in a changing environment and to meet short deadlines. • Ability to perform critical analysis. • Ability to work in teams and independently. • Ability to progress your business skills and knowledge. • Flexible and proactive approach to tasks and the ability to manage time/workload efficiently

Holidays: 28 Days + bank holidays + half day before every bank holiday and half day every Friday in August


Pension/Benefits: The company operates a non-contributory stakeholder pension scheme. The employee will be automatically enrolled in the scheme. The company will contribute 10% of the Employee’s basic salary.
