As a Loader / General Operative at FCC Environment, you will work as part of a collection crew and/or street cleansing team within the Burnley area. You will play a vital role in ensuring waste and recycling collections are carried out efficiently, safely, and in line with company policies.
This vacancy is for a full-time position

What will you be doing?
• Working as part of a collection crew and/or street cleansing team
• Loading refuse and recyclable materials onto collection vehicles
• Following all health & safety regulations and company policies
• Ensuring all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is worn at all times
• Treating company property and colleagues with respect
• Reporting any accidents, near misses, or safety concerns to management
• Carrying out any duties as defined by the local management team
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
What are we looking for?
• Physically fit due to the nature of the role
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Good timekeeping skills
• Prepared to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to follow clear instructions
• Knowledge of Local Area (preferred but not essential)
• Previous experience in waste collection or a similar role (desirable but not essential – full training will be provided)
