Time to gear up. Join the adventures at Alton!

Alton Water has been supplying clean water to the local area for over 50 years. But did you know it's also a fantastic family day out?

Whether it's a slow stroll in nature, cycling across our 8-mile country cycling track, or visiting our Cafe for a cuppa, there's something for everyone at Alton.

What will you be doing?

At Alton Water, we offer bike rentals and tours for our guests, and we need an enthusiastic and skilled Bike Mechanic / Park Assistant to keep our fleet in top shape.

As a Bike Mechanic, you'll play a key role in providing our guests with safe, reliable bikes for exploring the park and beyond. You'll be responsible for all aspects of bike maintenance, repairs, and quality checks.

In addition to the above, you may also be required to work in the visitor centre, support with weddings and community events, as well as helping across our Watersports Centre and Cafes as needed, ensuring a smooth, fun, and safe experience for all park guests.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about cycling and thrives in a fast-paced outdoor environment!

We are offering a flexible contract with hours that work around your current commitments.

What does it take?

  • Cytech Level 1 qualification

  • We are looking for customer-focused individuals to provide first-class customer service to all our visitors

  • Experience of working in a customer facing outdoor role would be desirable

  • You'll help us maintain a clean and safe environment

  • Most importantly you'll show flexibility and a willingness to learn about all aspects of our activities

  • Due to our remote location, you will require access to your own transport

As a valued member of the team, you are entitled to these fantastic benefits:

  • Flexible hours

  • Company Induction, Uniform and Training

  • Free parking at all our water parks

  • Discounts across our water parks - including our Watersports Centre and Cafe's

  • Mobile phone contract discounts for you and your family

  • Discounts across cinema, airport parking and gyms/health clubs.

We are offering a flexible contract with hours that work around your current commitments, ideally being available to work during school holidays and weekends, which are our busiest time.
