Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Hospitality Team Member at George & Dragon.
You will meet & greet customers serving them both at the bar and serving food at the table, working in the restaurant, ensuring the customer’s needs are met at all times.
Duties will include:
•serving hot & cold beverages and alcohol
•processing card and cash payments
•providing good customer service
•cleaning, table relaying and clearing
•keeping the bar area clean
•adhere to all health and safety laws and licensing laws
•ensure procedures and schedules are followed for cleaning and sanitising food preparation/storage areas, and ensure that any equipment is clean and maintained
As an apprentice you will be included on a Level 2 Food & Beverage Apprenticeship, this will involve a Regional Trainer visiting you once a month in the workplace.
To become an apprentice, you must:
- be 16 or over
- not already be in full-time education
As an apprentice you’ll:
- complete a Level 2 Food & Beverage apprenticeship standard
- have regular one to one sessions with a dedicated trainer either remotely or through visits to your workplace
- learn and train for a specific job
- get paid and receive holiday leave
- get hands-on experience in a real job
- study for at least 20% of your working hours
- complete assessments during and at the end of your apprenticeship
- be on a career path with lots of future potential
