Description
As an Apprentice Training Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery to both our customers and colleagues by providing administrative support for LMS system functionality, reporting and related services. This role focuses on optimising system performance, troubleshooting issues, and facilitating seamless user experiences.
Key Tasks and responsibilities
Administration
- Manage customer mailboxes, including triaging, responding to enquiries, and filing emails.
- Provide advice, guidance, and support on LMS functionality and reporting.
- Respond to general enquiries and quick-resolution requests from the customer mailbox.
- Maintain and manage eLearning course completion records.
- Update the LMS with accurate course-specific information.
- Assist the team with large-scale administrative tasks.
- Investigate error alert emails and system issues. Working with system support team and IT to resolve.
Documentation Management
- Assist in updating key documents to support customer and internal team processes.
- Ensure user guides reflect the latest system functionality and best practices.
Stakeholder / Customer Support:
- Adhere to all customer KPIs/SLAs.
- Respond promptly to verbal and written queries from customers and internal staff.
- Provide hands-on support for system functionality and troubleshooting
- Support workload distribution and provide holiday and absence cover for colleagues in the Managed Training Team.
- Provide administrative support for finance-related queries as needed.
To become an apprentice, you must:
- be 16 or over
- not already be in full-time education
As an apprentice you’ll:
- complete a level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship standard
- have regular one to one sessions with a dedicated trainer either remotely or through visits to your workplace
- learn and train for a specific job
- get paid and receive holiday leave
- get hands-on experience in a real job
- study for at least 20% of your working hours
- complete assessments during and at the end of your apprenticeship
- be on a career path with lots of future potential

- • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
- Outlook) to manipulate and analyse/present data
- • Excellent oral and written communication
- • Skilled in the use of web-based IT systems (LMS, Contact Management System) would be advantageous
No qualifications are required to be considered suitable for this role. All training will be given as part of the apprenticeship.
