Vacancy Description:

Ringway are looking for an apprentice data analyst to join their team.

Key Duties:

  • As a Data Analyst Apprentice, you'll play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Collect, clean, and analyse data from various sources, helping to identify trends and insights.  This will involve assisting with the creation of reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate findings effectively.
  • You'll also gain experience in data quality assurance, ensuring accuracy and consistency, while collaborating with the team to understand business needs and contribute to analytical projects.  This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your analytical skills and build a solid foundation in the world of data.
  • Mentor Allocation and guidance

Our Apprenticeship Scheme has been designed kick start your journey towards becoming an industry expert. You will get hands on experience and tailored training to support you every step of the way.  

We are looking for a long-term relationship with our apprentices and we have a long-term career structure in mind, whereby we see the apprentice developing into senior roles within our business as it grows.

Desired Skills & Qualities:

  • Excel Proficiency: Data manipulation, cleaning, and analysis using formulas, pivot tables, etc.
  • Data Visualisation Aptitude: Understanding of effective data presentation and willingness to learn relevant tools.
  • SQL (or Willingness to Learn): Querying databases is crucial; prior experience is a plus, but eagerness to learn is essential.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to break down problems, interpret data, and draw conclusions.
  • Attention to Detail & Critical Thinking: Accuracy, precision, and objective evaluation of information.
  • Eagerness to Learn & Intellectual Curiosity: A genuine desire to develop and explore the world of data.
  • Communication & Collaboration Skills: Clearly communicate findings and work effectively in a team.
  • Time Management & Organisation: Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Entry Requirements:   Standard Entry:
  • Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)
  • OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)
Plus:
  • 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above
  • Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar)
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.   If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.    For more information please visit the UK ENIC website.
