Opportunity Details

They are a small team offering a friendly and high quality service to all our clients and horses and believe in supporting each other in order to improve and progress.

The position is for a non-ridden or ridden apprentice who is looking to step into the equine industry and develop their knowledge and understanding of running and managing a yard of horses and has an open and willing attitude to learn.

The role involves general yard and grooming duties including but not limited to, turning out, bringing in, rug changes, grooming, tacking up, lunging and mucking out.

They regularly attend dressage shows.

You will be fully supported in your apprenticeship from a knowledgeable and experience team therefore prior experience is not essential but must have a great attitude.

They are situated in a small village and so the ability to drive or have a method of getting here is vital.

Working hours are on a rota basis and there will be some weekend work.

The apprenticeship is based on site in a practical environment so not lots of time spent in a classroom. If you did not gain your GCSE's in Maths and English we can support you whilst on programme.

The interview will consist of a trial day at the yard.

To apply for this role you must be a UK resident or have lived in the EU for 3 years.
