Skills Required

Experience in handling reptiles and aquariums. - Basic understanding of animal care or a willingness to learn more. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Able to follow instructions and ask questions when needed. - Organisational skills for keeping track of tasks, tools, and site visits. - Driving licence desirable (or working towards one), as travel will become a key part of the role.

Qualifications Required

A GCSE or equivalent pass in English and math's is beneficial but not essential. If you do not have passes, we will support you in achieving your Functional Skills English and math's qualifications alongside your apprenticeship.

Training

All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.

Monique and Anne are looking for a new equine apprentice to start on 16 hours per week , with room to increase these hours. This will include 1 weekend day and is a 8am start. Wage is dependent on age and is to be discussed with the employer, all applicants must be keen to do their BHS teaching Quals alongside their apprenticeship and be happy to work with children.
