Big ambitions need the right platform. At RSM, Consulting provides exactly that.
RSM’s Consulting programme offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to work alongside talented professionals on projects that make an impact from day one. No two days are the same, with teams tackling complex problems and delivering solutions that help clients transform, perform, and grow.
Why Consulting?
Consulting touches every part of the business world — from technology and retail to healthcare and energy. At RSM, consulting teams work with organisations across industries to solve problems, drive change, and create lasting value. Whether improving operations, strengthening financial performance, or helping businesses manage risk, consulting at RSM is where fresh thinking creates real-world results.
Where candidates will begin:
- Participants typically start in either the Risk Assurance or Finance Function Support (FFS) teams:
- Risk Assurance helps businesses manage risk, ensure compliance, and stay one step ahead of challenges that could affect their future.
- Finance Function Support keeps financial operations running smoothly, from preparing reports to providing financial insights that drive decision-making.
- Beyond these teams, opportunities exist to gain secondments across RSM’s wider Consulting practice — including business transformation, forensics, deal advisory, and restructuring — providing broad exposure to the full spectrum of consulting work.
The pathway
Participants will gain hands-on experience while working towards either the AAT qualification or a Business Degree, supported through structured training, mentoring, and on-the-job learning. Along the way, they will:
- Use data and digital tools to solve complex business problems.
- Deliver insights that help clients make better decisions.
- Build transferable skills for long-term career success.
- Contribute to projects that create meaningful outcomes for clients and communities.
Important information:
- RSM will only consider one application per recruitment cycle and does not accept multiple applications to different vacancies.
- Due to changes in government policy from April 2024, applications can only be accepted from individuals with existing, permanent rights to live and work in the UK.
