Opportunity Details
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Level 3 Early Years Apprentice.
This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work alongside a highly experienced nursery management team.
As an apprentice, you will;
•Play a key role in supporting children’s safety, learning, and development
•Building strong partnerships with families
•Work in partnership with families and colleagues to observe, assess, and meet each child’s individual needs
Your responsibilities will include -
•Planning and leading engaging educational activities
•Acting as a key person for individual children
•Maintaining developmental records
•Ensuring a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.
You will also be expected to follow safeguarding procedures, complete mandatory training, attend staff meetings and parent evenings, and uphold the nursery’s high standards at all times.

Skills Required
Strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Ability to plan, deliver, and adapt engaging, age-appropriate activities.
Good communication skills with children, families, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to nurture children's individual needs.
Qualifications Required
Maths & English Grade 4
Early years level 2 - desirable
Pay would be between 12.21 and 13.85 depending on experience and qualification.
Training
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
'¢ Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
'¢ Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
'¢ Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
'¢ Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.
