The Audit Data Analytics team sits at the forefront of transforming how audits are conducted, using advanced technology and data-led insights. The team enhances audit quality by leveraging client data with sophisticated analytics tools and tailored solutions.
From day one, successful candidates will collaborate with experienced professionals, develop both technical and commercial expertise, and contribute to impactful projects that shape the future of audit. Working alongside industry experts, they will develop technical expertise and business acumen while contributing to meaningful projects from the outset.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, building, and maintaining in-house applications for standardised audit procedures.
- Developing sector-specific analytics solutions for industries such as retail, manufacturing, and financial services.
- Executing complex, tailored analytical procedures for specific audit engagements.
- Developing innovative testing approaches for non-standard scenarios.
- Collaborating with regional teams to understand local requirements and drive tool adoption.
- Engaging with audit teams to promote analytics solutions and highlight value-add opportunities.

Qualifications Required
RSM values passion, personality, and originality. Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 112 UCAS points across 3 A Levels (or equivalent level 3 qualification), or 104 UCAS points across 4 Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or Irish Leaving Certificate (Higher Level).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- An interest in technology and data analytics.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Flexibility and a willingness to embrace continuous learning and professional growth.
- An academic background in mathematics, computer science, economics, finance, or related fields (beneficial but not essential).
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Alteryx, SQL, or Python (beneficial but not essential).
Please note, RSM does not accept General Studies, AS Levels, or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
