Opportunity Details
As a Finance Apprentice, you will spend 80% of your time on the job putting your
new skills into practice, the remaining 20% will be dedicated to off-the-job
learning through our course provider, BPP, where you will work towards gaining
your Level 3 AAT Diploma in Accounting. Your role will be to learn and work aligned
with best practices, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance in all financial
and administrative tasks, with the goal of becoming a qualified finance
professional.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Tracking project contracts, issuing invoices and ensuring ours are paid on time.
- Assisting colleagues in tracking and analysing income and spend and
- forecasting future performance.
- Ensuring we are up to date with statutory filings at Companies House,HMRC, etc.
- Liaising directly with suppliers and external finance teams.
- Researching, implementing and rolling out new company processes.
- First point of review for new client contracts, flagging any conflicts with ourterms and insurances and ensuring appropriate records are maintained.
- Drafting and sending NDA and supplier contracts as required.
- Participating in tasks as required and identifying opportunities to make the
- company more efficient.
- Assisting with maintaining business certifications, including ISO standards.

Skills Required
We're looking for someone who has:
- A meticulous approach to all tasks, ensuring precision in financial data, reports and administrative duties.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain structured workflows and ensure efficient operations.
- Comfortable working with data and ideally familiar with Google Workspace, including Google Sheets, for basic data organisation and reporting.
- The ability to interpret information, identify issues and contribute to practical solutions.
- The eagerness to identify opportunities for improvement, implement new processes and thrive in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
- The ability to manage your own workload effectively while also being a strong team player.
- Skilled at juggling multiple responsibilities and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
- A passion for optimising systems and processes and bringing others along in these changes.
Qualifications Required
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Training
BPP apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry-experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.
Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.
Prospects
This apprenticeship will provide you with valuable finance and business operations experience, along with an AAT Level 3 qualification, supporting your future career progression in the finance sector.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position will be £27,007.50 per annum.
