Opportunity Details
The Brands, Marketing & Experience (BMX) division is where creativity meets data. From building iconic brands to designing seamless digital journeys, the team creates experiences that millions of people trust every day — and now others can be part of it too.
As a Digital Marketer Degree Apprentice, individuals will gain the best of both worlds: a fully funded BSc (Hons) in Digital Marketing and hands-on experience within one of the UK’s largest and most ambitious marketing teams. This is not a programme where learning is passive — apprentices will apply theory from day one, running campaigns, testing ideas, and analysing results, all while studying with Manchester Metropolitan University.
The programme blends academic study with real-world projects, building skills, confidence, and impact year by year:
- Foundations of Digital Marketing – covering digital-first principles, platform essentials, analytics basics, and an introduction to user experience.
- Understanding the Digital Consumer – exploring e-commerce, customer engagement, audience insights, and social media management.
- Strategic Digital Marketing – focusing on content marketing, brand management, performance measurement, conversion marketing, and strategy.
- Business Impact & Assessment – designing digital business models, managing campaigns, and completing a synoptic project as part of the end-point assessment.
Throughout the apprenticeship, participants will support live marketing campaigns across multiple channels, use analytics tools to track performance and optimise content, design digital experiences that make banking simpler and smarter, create social media content, and collaborate with designers, strategists, and data specialists on major brand initiatives.
By the end of the programme, apprentices will be degree-qualified, digitally confident, strategic, analytical, and collaborative — ready to make a meaningful impact in the marketing industry.
