Opportunity Details
At Lloyds Banking Group, people drive success. Talented, dedicated, and diverse, they’re at the heart of everything the Group does. They’re the reason it’s respected and trusted by customers and the industry. With exciting new strategies underway, the Group is focused on helping its people shine, grow, and Help Britain Prosper.
Creating one of the best places to work means empowering colleagues to maximise their potential and shape the careers they want. That’s where Occupational Psychology Graduates come in—helping to shape the culture, from how and where people work to how they’re recognised and rewarded.
This scheme is designed for MSc Occupational Psychology graduates who are creative thinkers and passionate about understanding human behaviour in the workplace. By applying psychological theory and practice, graduates help colleagues perform at their best and thrive—enhancing the people proposition, improving ways of working, and creating a culture where everyone can flourish.
Graduates rotate through three HR teams, gaining both specialist and generalist experience that complements the core competencies required to become a Chartered Occupational Psychologist. These teams may include:
- Talent Management
- Culture and Leadership
- Future Ways of Working
- Organisation and Capabilities
Throughout the programme, graduates develop their skills, build networks, and make a meaningful impact. They work on projects such as:
- Leading the development of people products from design to implementation
- Using specialist knowledge to challenge thinking and offer fresh insight
- Collaborating with forward-thinking suppliers to scope innovative solutions
- Researching the market to uncover new partnerships, products, and trends
- Supporting and inspiring colleagues to unlock their full potential
Graduates will earn a Master of Science degree in Occupational Psychology, accredited by the British Psychological Society, and by the end of the programme, will be eligible for HCPC registration and Chartered Membership with the BPS—ready to shape their careers in an inclusive, growth-focused culture.
