Opportunity Details
At Lloyds Banking Group, data isn’t just a file sitting quietly on a server. It’s the fuel that fires up every smart move the organisation makes. It’s the beat the business moves to. The Data & Analytics team has one mission: to weave data, analytics and AI into the Group’s DNA. Why? Because every decision—big or small—should be powered by data.
As part of the Data Management Graduate Scheme, graduates won’t be sitting on the sidelines. They’ll be in the mix—embedding frameworks, shaping strategy, managing key relationships and building the data tools and culture that turn information into innovation.
This two-year scheme offers hybrid working across key UK hubs. Graduates will rotate through data-driven teams, learning how Lloyds Banking Group manages, protects and extracts value from one of its most precious assets.
They could be championing data excellence by helping teams embed Group-wide data management standards and principles, driving impact through strong oversight, building capabilities that matter, developing data strategies, empowering a thriving data community, and promoting a data-driven culture. All while getting hands-on with the tools and tech that keep the organisation future-focused—like Power BI, Collibra, Ataccama, Google Cloud Platform, Jira, Python, SQL, Tableau, Looker, Dataplex, Confluence and Microsoft Visio.
No two weeks are the same. Graduates will be focused on driving data management processes across business units and platforms. In addition, they may be:
- Creating and improving smarter data standards and controls
- Designing future-focused data strategies and operating models
- Collecting, integrating and cleaning large, complex datasets
- Building dashboards in Tableau, Power BI or Looker
- Collaborating with teams across the business to raise data literacy and awareness
- Experimenting with GenAI, predictive analytics and Google Cloud technologies
- Contributing to high-profile initiatives like Digital Waterfront
