Opportunity Details
Administrative Support:
- Assist the Business Manager with daily administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage scheduling, including coordinating meetings, appointments, and workshops.
- Prepare documents, reports, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
- Handle communications (emails, phone calls) as directed, facilitating timely responses.
Task Completion:
- Support the execution of projects and initiatives by completing assigned tasks on time.
- Assist in the management of office supplies and resources, ensuring availability and compliance with budget constraints.
- Help process purchase orders and maintain accurate records for financial documentation.
Learning and Development:
- Engage in on-the-job training under the guidance of the Business Manager, gaining practical insights into business operations.
- Dedicate one day per week to complete apprenticeship coursework, applying learned concepts to daily tasks.
- Seek feedback and actively participate in discussions to enhance personal and professional development.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Business Manager and other Business Administrators to support cross-portfolio initiatives.
- Contribute to team meetings by sharing ideas and suggestions for process improvements.
- Assist with logistics for meetings and events, ensuring smooth operations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving administrative processes and share ideas with the team.
- Stay informed about organizational policies and procedures to enhance effectiveness.
- Corporate Governance activity is intended to mean any Panel, Board or Council meeting, whether as part of formal governance, in an advisory capacity, or internal governance.
Additional Duties:
- Undertake any other responsibilities as assigned by the Business Manager.
