This is more than just one programme — it’s the first step in a rewarding career. Apprentices begin with a?Level 4 Applied Data and AI Specialist apprenticeship. Upon successful completion, they progress to a?Level 6 degree apprenticeship, deepening their skills while growing their career within the Group.
Along the way, apprentices will explore:
- SQL and advanced data joins
- Predictive modelling and forecasting
- Data visualisation and storytelling
- Analytics lifecycles and data democratisation
- Statistical programming languages
- Building data products that people actually use
By the end of the programme, participants won’t just understand data — they’ll live and breathe it.

Qualifications Required
- GCSEs at grade 4 – 9 in both Maths and English; or Nat 5 at grade A – C in both Maths and English
- 3 A Levels at grade BCC; or 4 Highers at grade BBCC
- Any offer made will be conditional upon the successful achievement of these qualifications.
Training
Apprentices will begin with a Level 4 Applied Data and AI Specialist apprenticeship. Do well, and successfully complete it, and they’ll move on to a Level 6 degree apprenticeship — deepening their skills while growing their career with Lloyds Banking Group.

Other Information
Lloyds Banking Group operates a hybrid working policy, requiring at least two days per week in the office. Apprenticeship schemes may close early, so it's a good idea to apply early to avoid missing out.
