Opportunity Details
They are looking for enthusiastic animal loving apprentice who are keen to gain a Level 2 or Level 3 Animal Care apprenticeship.
They are looking for a committed and hardworking individual to join our team as an Animal Care Assistant. The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team in a busy, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dog walking
- Exercising animals according to their needs Cleaning and maintaining kennels to a high standard of hygiene
- Assisting in the day care area with feeding
- Monitoring behaviour
- Washing Animals
- Feeding
- Giving Medication
- Keeping facilities clean and tidy
Hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 5 days a week (between Monday and Saturday)
You must be a UK resident to qualify for apprenticeship funding, and must not have completed this qualification previously.

Training
All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.
