Accounting Apprenticeship (Level 2)

You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and get hands-on training in audit and finance. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the planning and execution of audits for clients in various industries

• Performing audit testing and documenting findings

• Reviewing and analysing financial statements and accounting records

• Identifying potential issues and escalating to senior auditors

• Gathering financial data and understanding client business processes

• Preparing and maintaining clear and accurate audit files

• Assisting with general accounting and finance tasks

• Managing time and tasks to meet audit deadlines

Essential:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English – Grade 4/C or above

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car (essential due to site visits)

• Strong interest in accounting, audit, or business finance

• Detail-oriented with logical thinking

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

• Confident with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Preferred:

• A-Levels or equivalent

• Any prior experience in finance, accounting, or office admin (voluntary or academic)

• Practical, hands-on experience in audit from day one

• Study support for AAT Level 2 qualification

• Exposure to diverse clients and sectors

• Friendly and supportive work environment

• On-site work required (not remote/hybrid)

• Must have reliable transport due to client visits
