Opportunity Details
As an IT Apprentice, you will support the IT team with a variety of tasks, including:
· IT Support – act as the first point of contact for staff queries, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and escalate complex problems when needed.
· Hardware & Software – help install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and printers, as well as support system updates and checks.
· User & Systems Admin – assist with user accounts, permissions, shared drives, email, and cloud services, while monitoring network and system performance.
· Cybersecurity & Compliance – ensure devices, accounts, and processes follow company IT and data protection policies.
· Documentation & Assets – maintain records of IT requests, asset registers, and IT procedures.
· Projects & Learning – contribute to IT projects, gain exposure to advanced technologies, and continue learning to apply new skills in practice.

Skills Required
· Understanding of hardware components (PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices).
· Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, possibly macOS or Linux).
· Awareness of network basics (Wi-Fi, LAN, connectivity troubleshooting).
Qualifications Required
At least five GCSEs at grades 9 to 5 (A to C), including English and Maths. A qualification in IT or Computer Science would be desirable.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to:
· Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
· Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.
· Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance.
· Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
· Support the information systems needs for your business.
