As a roustabout, you will:
Your employer will put you through safety training. With experience, you could become a crane operator, or a roughneck, who works on drilling operations. With further training, you could become a derrickhand or driller, or be a commercial diver, repairing drill pipes underwater.
Signmakers design, make and fit signs for commercial and non-commercial use.
Helicopter engineers service and repair helicopters.
Nuclear technicians maintain equipment and monitor radiation levels in nuclear power stations.
Mechanical engineers develop and design the components and machinery used in manufacturing, construction and other industries.
Telecoms engineers work on satellite, digital TV and fibre optic systems, and install broadband, mobile and landline phone networks.
Clinical engineers design, develop and maintain equipment for diagnosing illness and treating patients.

Your apprenticeship will last 36 months, and successful apprentices will achieve a Water Industry Treatment Process Technician, Level: 3 (wastewater pathway) standard, endorsed by the Institute for Apprenticeships.You will need to be mobile in this role, well contribute up to 500 towards driving lessons and tests to help to get you on the road!
