Courses like these may be useful when looking for a trainee job with a company. You'll usually need 2 or more GCSEs at grades 9 to 3 (A* to D), or equivalent.
You could do a furniture manufacturer Level 2 apprenticeship or upholsterer Level 3 apprenticeship. You'll usually need some GCSEs, usually including English and maths, or equivalent, for a Level 2 apprenticeship. You'll need 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, including English and maths, for a Level 3 apprenticeship.
You may be able to get work as a trainee upholsterer, without any experience. You would then do qualifications and get experience on the job.
You can train for upholstery qualifications with the The Association of Master Upholsterers and Soft Furnishers. These may be useful when looking for a job or help if you're looking to set up your own business.

Your apprenticeship will last 36 months, and successful apprentices will achieve a Water Industry Treatment Process Technician, Level: 3 (wastewater pathway) standard, endorsed by the Institute for Apprenticeships.You will need to be mobile in this role, well contribute up to 500 towards driving lessons and tests to help to get you on the road!
