This post provides the opportunity to complete a higher-level apprenticeship in Digital and Technology Solutions Professional ( Degree ). The right candidate will be a highly valued member of our Central Team within Team Beckfoot Trust.p pAs our IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems across the schools within our trust.p pstrongKey Responsibilities:strongp ul listrongIT Infrastructure & Support:strong Maintain and monitor IT systems across schools, providing second-line support and escalating issues as needed.li listrongIncident Management:strong Investigate and resolve technical issues, implement security protocols, and ensure service reliability.li listrongSystem Administration:strong Manage IT assets, user accounts, cloud and on-premises systems, and softwarehardware installations.li listrongTraining & Collaboration:strong Support staff and students with IT training, troubleshooting, and best practices while working with external vendors.li listrongCompliance & Security:strong Ensure GDPR, cybersecurity, and data protection compliance, maintaining accurate records and risk assessments.li listrongProfessional Growth:strong Stay updated with industry trends, participate in training, and continuously improve IT operations.li ul pYou will work collaboratively with our Trust IT Team to support multiple schools . As we continue to standardise our technology and processes, you will maintain comprehensive documentation and managing the IT service portfolio to ensure efficiency and standardisation across our trust.p pstrongKey Person Specification(s):strongp ul listrongQualifications:strong Minimum Level 4 IT qualification with GCSEs in Maths and English; additional IT-related certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft) are desirable.li listrongExperience: strongAt least three years of IT experience, including infrastructure management and application support; experience in educational IT is a plus.li listrongSkills & Knowledge:strong Strong problem-solving abilities, knowledge of IT systems in educational settings, and effective communication skills.li listrongValues & Character:strong Commitment to safeguarding, diversity, and ethical leadership, with emotional intelligence and a passion for education.li listrongPersonal Circumstances:strong Legally able to work in the UK, flexible for meetings outside regular hours, and ideally has a driving license with access to a car.li liThis might well suit someone who already holds a ICT L3 Apprenticeship and is seeking career advancementli ul pBeckfoot Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
