Full Description

Working alongside experienced solicitors and conveyancing staff, the successful candidate will assist primarily with a variety of residential & commercial conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases and remortgages.


Duties will include:

  • Opening and maintaining client files.

  • Carrying out identity and anti-money laundering checks.

  • Preparing routine correspondence and legal documents.

  • Obtaining searches and Land Registry documentation.

  • Liaising with client , estate agents , mortgage lenders and other solicitors.

  • Preparing Land Registry applications and dealing with HMRC returns.

  • Assisting with the progression of conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.

  • Arranging appointments and dealing with telephone enquires.

  • General Administrative duties including front of house cover where required.


Duties may also include assisting the Wills & Probate department if required


Full training and supervision will be provided throughout the apprenticeship

Skills required

Qualifications required

Five (5) GCSEs between A* - C (9-4) and CCC at A level (96 UCAS points), or equivalent

Future prospects

We are looking to recruit someone who wishes to build a long-term career within the legal profession. Subject to performance and business needs, the successful candidate will be offered a permanent position on completion of the apprenticeship, with further opportunities for progression within the firm. Further training and qualifications can be supported.
